Treat Autoimmune Hepatitis with Chinese Medical Herbs

Chinese medicine, unlike its western counterpart, inherited a different set of theories. The clinical results of Chinese medicine, often times, proved much better than that of Western medicine. Chinese medicine can even address or cure some of the ailments that Western Medicine had no effect on. Frequently we were asked: if Western treatment fails, should one try Chinese medicine for some new hope? The answer is a definite positive YES . We've accepted a lot of patients failed from Western Medicine, but Chinese Medicine worked miracle in their cases . One of those is a liver dysfunction due to autoimmune hepatitis. We patiently treated that patient with Chinese medical herbs, eventually his liver function turned back to normal.

Another 32 year–old woman came to our clinic because she suffered autoimmune hepatitis nine years ago, Prednisone was used to control her liver enzyme and liver disease. But in recent years, her SGPT and SPOT (liver enzyme) rose again, she's constant ly fatigued and even high dosage (40 mg) of Prednisone per day proved powerless. Another complication was she was breast–feeding her three–month–old baby at that time. In desperation, she visited our Clinic and took on Traditional Chinese Herbal medicines daily. Two months later, her liver function returned to normal. It had stayed normal ever since (5 years already).

Why are Chinese medical herbs able to restore damaged liver cells from immune attacks, or bring down the SGOT and SGPT? Large volume of clinical research and animal tests have indicated that herbs like Wuzhi, Cuaipen have a special power of reverse hepatocellular injury.

In autoimmune liver disease, liver cells have been severely damaged due to antibody's action which causes high enzyme in blood stream. We all know that steroids can inhibit over–reacted immune function, but cannot prevent liver cells injury in the process, nor can they eliminate antigen–antibody complications. While Chinese medical herbs can soothe liver cells, wipe out the antigen–antibody complications, and slowly adjust/steady the natural immune function of the liver organ.

Hence, Chinese Medical herbs are more potent than Western ones on treating certain autoimmune diseases. If Western doctor told you that you have an incurable disease, don't lose your heart yet.
